WHO WE ARE

YOU’LL WANT TO HOLD YOUR BREATH FOR THIS…

Breathe Ohio, Inc, is a 501(c)(3), whose mission is to be a leader in the provision of Asthma/COPD prevention/education and services to those who are diagnosed with Asthma/COPD and related illnesses, and live in communities of color in Northern Columbus and the Midwest region. Breathe Ohio, Inc, known as Breatheohio614 on social networks was formed in 2019 to provide overall wellness for individuals in the community by educating and informing the community about Asthma/COPD and to provide direct services to those in need. Getting social networks involved and building collaboration has led to more awareness and information of Asthma/COPD and its related illnesses and generated greater support within the African-American community. We are looking to develop programs and community advisory groups focusing on the skills necessary to maintain a healthy lifestyle, Asthma/COPD family issues and services. Coordinate both faith and community-based initiatives, Youth Leadership Institute, World Asthma Day, and a holiday children’s Toy Drive. We will be working with local foundations to secure funding for other agencies, mindful of the fact that we can only reach a small segment of the community of need.
